Class of 2019: We want to celebrate and help you transition into the next season of your life!
As graduation day looms around the corner, you may have a lot of fears and anxiety about what's coming next. This lunch and panel is just for you! We will have Well alumni of different ages and stages for you to hear from, ask questions, and connect with to equip you for wherever you're headed next. We hope you join!
When: Sunday, April 28 from 12-2pm

Where: Calvary's Annex
Who: This Senior Lunch + Panel is open to all students graduating in May, August, or December of 2019 from UA, Stillman, or Shelton State
Cost: Totally free (just like the best things in life)

Elizabeth Box is 23, and graduated from UA with a Masters in Operations Management and B.A. in Marketing in the spring of 2018. She currently lives in Birmingham while working at Encompass Health as a SCO Coordinator. She attends and serves at Christ Fellowship Church in Homewood.
Emily Laster is 23, and graduated from UA with a B.A. in Marketing in the spring of 2018. She currently lives in Birmingham while working at Oak Mountain Presbyterian Church as a youth assistant working with junior high girls and their programming and teaching. She attends and serves at Oak Mountain Presbyterian Church.
Eric Mayo is 25, and graduated from UA with a B.A. in Communications Studies with a minor in Religious Studies in the spring of 2015. He currently lives in Nashville and works the Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission of the Southern Baptist Convention, and in the office of President Russell Moore and the strategic partnerships team. He currently attends and serves at Redemption City Church in Franklin.
John Roberson is 24, and graduated from UA with a B.S. in Biology in the spring of 2017. He currently lives at home in Birmingham while he is in his second year of Dental School at UAB. He currently attends and serves at Redeemer Community Church.
Bubba + Emily Hoffman are newlyweds (as of July 2018!) and currently living in Hoover. Bubba is 25 and graduated from UA with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering in the spring of 2018. He currently works at Miller Electric as an Assistant Project Manager. Emily is 24 and graduated from UA in the fall of 2017 with a B.A. in Elementary Education. She now teaches 4th grade at Briarwood Christian School. The Hoffmans attend and serve at Mountain Brook Community Church.
Madi Bray is 23, and will graduate from UA with a Masters in Sports Business Administration this spring and graduated with a B.A. in Public Relations in the spring of 2018. She currently lives in Tuscaloosa while working two jobs: one is part-time as a college associate with The Well overseeing Life Groups, and the second is a graduate assistant for the Alabama Athletics Marketing to develop fun and creative initiatives to engage fans during Alabama sporting events. She attends and serves at Calvary Baptist Church.
Meghan Walker is 27, and graduated from UA with a B.A. in International Relations in the spring of 2014. She is currently working on her Masters in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages at UAB. She currently lives in Birmingham while working full-time at UAB in the Academic Success Center while taking her grad classes. Before starting grad school, she taught English overseas in Turkey. When she finishes grad school, her plans are to return overseas. She attends and serves at the Church at Brook Hills in Birmingham.
Sara Howell is 25, and graduated from UA with a B.A. in Secondary Education English Language Arts in the spring of 2017, and she will begin her Masters degree in Library Sciences this August! She currently lives in Tuscaloosa while teaching 8th/9th grade English at Gordo High School. She emphatically wants all to know her status is Ulta Platinum and outside of teaching, she takes ballet and loves to wander in the woods. She attends and serves at Calvary Baptist Church.
Kelsie Owens is 25, and graduated from UA with a B.A. in Secondary English Education in the spring of 2016. She currently lives in Tuscaloosa while teaching 8th grade English Language Arts at Echols Middle School in Northport (which involves reminding 14-year-olds to write their names on assignments all day long). She attends and serves at Calvary Baptist Church.
Sam + Toria Parsons are married (as of August 2017!) and currently living in Birmingham. Sam is 26 and graduated from UA with a B.S. in Civil Engineering in the spring of 2015, and got his Masters from Clemson in Urban/City Planning. He currently works for Regional Planning Commission of Birmingham as an Urban and Transportation Planner. Toria is 26 and graduated from UA in the fall of 2015 with a B.A. in Social Work, and got her Masters in Teaching English as a Foreign Language. She now works at Lifeline Children's Services as a social worker helping families adopt from India and Eastern Europe. The Parsons attend and serve at Grace Fellowship Church.
